I am a Visiting Assistant Professor at Middlebury College. Previously, I was an Assistant Professor at Dartmouth College (2010-22). I have also held research positions at the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago, the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) at UC Berkeley, and Habitat for Humanity International. I study comparative politics, with a regional focus on Africa. I completed a Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of California, San Diego, a Master’s degree at Johns Hopkins University / SAIS, and a BA at Oberlin College.
